GCSE English Study Guides & Short Story Collections
After more than three decades of teaching GCSE English, I saw a clear pattern: many capable students struggled in exams not because they lacked ability, but because they lacked clear strategies and consistent reading habits.
In 2021, I created GCSE Story Writing Secrets to solve one of the most challenging parts of the exam the story writing question in GCSE English Language Paper 1. My aim was simple: provide students with a practical, reliable method that makes high-quality writing achievable under exam conditions.
The success of this first book led to the development of two complementary resource streams designed to help students build both exam technique and strong reading habits the two foundations of success in GCSE English.
A) Study Guides That Do the Heavy Lifting
Clear frameworks. Powerful strategies. Exam success.
The Story Writing Secrets and English Language Vocabulary Secrets guides give students exactly what they need to succeed in English Language Paper 1.
B) Sprint Reads for Teens
